Introductions to species identification, field signs, ecology, legislation and surveys

We have organised and led numerous formal training events for volunteer groups, community groups and students. Professionals who have attended and benefited from our events include countryside rangers, ecological consultants, nature conservationists and ecological researchers. We have the capabilities to identify venues, to provide presentations and field work events (including materials for field sampling, identification and recording) which we can tailor to the audience requirements.

** We do not hold licences for great crested newt but we have attended training including handling of this species and torching under the trainers licence. We have the knowledge and experience from monitoring the widespread amphibian species which enables us to introduce all of these species, survey methods and field skills with the exception of actions which would require a derogation licence.
